- Advised Access Corporate and CEG Finance led consortium on the entire tender process i.e., procurement, local content, regulatory, permits, tax, corporate, land, immigration on the commercial, financial and technical aspects of the construction of the crude oil pipeline between Hoima in Uganda to Tanga, Tanzania.
- Advised Total E & P Uganda BV on the entire regulatory and permit regulations for the entire upstream project within the Albertine Region in Uganda.
- Advised China Petroleum Technology and Development Corporation a wholly owned subsidiary of China National Petroleum Corporation on the regulatory processes and local content requirement with respect to its operations in Uganda.
- Advised an international client with respect to the local content requirements in respect of the upstream project in Uganda. The advice entailed advising on the rules, application and expectations with respect to the Local content regulations.
- Retained as Counsel by Total E & P BV and regularly advice it on the various matters including land rights, corporate compliance, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, employment amongst others.
- Advised Total E & P Uganda BV on the regulatory and permit requirements relevant for the entire upstream project within the Albertine Region in Uganda
- Advised China Petroleum Technology and Development Corporation a wholly owned subsidiary of China National Petroleum Corporation on the regulatory processes and local content requirements with respect to its operations in Uganda.
- Advised an international Oil & Gas contractor in relation to the tender process for the Front End Engineering Design (“FEED”) and EPC contracts for the Kingfisher project being developed by CNOOC.
- Advised a major upstream player in respect to the application of the upstream Health and Safety Regulations and Local Content Requirements pertinent to the upstream project in Uganda.
- Currently advising a consortium led by a recognized international security firm on the legal, regulatory and procurement aspects of its bid for the provision of security services covering the entire pipeline route from Hoima to Tanga, Tanzania.
- Retained as Counsel by Total E & P Uganda BV to advise on the trademark registration for the Tilenga project in Uganda and coordinate registration in Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda.
- Advised Schlumberger Oilfield on its contractual obligations and liability under a joint venture arrangement with a company in South Sudan and Uganda.
- Advising Sodexo on its corporate, regulatory, local content and joint venture arrangements with respect to its tender process as regards the Tilenga project.
- Advising “Distribution NOW” a leading global distributor of various oilfield products and equipment on its proposed market entry, corporate structure, regulatory and licensing requirements.
