Ivan is admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda. He regularly advises and represents clients on corporate restructuring, employment & pensions, legal audits, construction disputes as well as insolvency and security enforcement disputes. Ivan handles matters in all the courts of judicature in Uganda, arbitral tribunals and is also a qualified Mediator. Some of the notable matters he has worked on include advice rendered in administrative review proceedings before the Public Procurement Disposal of Public Assets’ Authority challenging an award of a contract for a design and build road project worth USD $ 107 Million as well as representing a Public entity in a tortious liability claim in excess of UGX. 12,000,000,000/= (Uganda Shillings Twelve Billion only) against a Steel Manufacturer.
He currently serves as the Practice Head of Disputes & Employment at the firm.
