Evelyn Maria Nakigudde

Evelyn is an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda with a growing interest in commercial dispute resolution. She provides advisory support to both local and international clients on a wide range of regulatory and compliance matters. Her experience includes advising on national content requirements in the oil and gas sector, immigration and work permit processes, mergers and acquisitions, national payment systems, and the taxation of digital services.. Some of the notable matters she has worked on include advice rendered to a Swedish Multi-National Corporation on its tax structuring and compliance requirements in Uganda as well as China Offshore Oil Engineering Company Limited and China Petroleum Engineering & Construction Corp on their local content requirements and the public procurement processes in Uganda.
