Arnold is admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda. He has previously worked at an international law firm in the United Kingdom. Arnold regularly advices clients on various corporate commercial transactions and his work involves advising on joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, loan financing arrangements, capital markets, as well as regulatory and compliance across a wide spectrum of sectors. He has also developed expertise in Competition law and is regularly consulted by both domestic and international clients on the same. Some of the notable transactions he has worked on include advice rendered to New Vision Printing and Publishing Company on the first of a kind issuance of preference shares in a listed company in Uganda, Financial Access on a factoring credit line from Afri- Exim Bank, Uganda Electricity Generation Company on a USD 7.5 Million Dollar Project Finance Term Loan from Afri- Exim Bank and Standard Chartered Bank on a Sovereign loan to the Government of Uganda for the construction of Tourism roads.
He currently leads the firm’s practice in Corporate, Mergers & Acquisitions, Banking & Finance, and Projects.
