We are committed to complying with the laws and professional rules that apply to our business and to upholding the highest standards of propriety. Our people understand that they must:
Refrain from engaging in bribery or corruption: We do not offer, pledge, or provide any financial or other benefits to anyone (including public officials) on behalf of the firm, a client, or any other party, for improper purposes or to influence the conduct of public officials in their duties. Additionally, do not request or accept such benefits.
Support efforts against financial crimes: We adhere to all applicable laws and regulations concerning money laundering, financing of terrorism, and proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.
Protect confidentiality and personal data: We ensure the security of all confidential and personal data, guarding it against loss, damage, or unauthorized access or processing.
Oppose facilitation of criminal activities: We do not assist, aid, or enable others to commit criminal offences, including fraud and tax evasion.
Treat everyone with dignity and respect: We promote diversity, inclusion, and a safe working environment devoid of bullying, harassment, or victimization. Comply with relevant laws and internal policies regarding personal conduct.
Prevent personal conflicts of interest: We report actual or potential personal conflicts of interest promptly to internal authorities to mitigate any perception of bias and uphold objectivity.
Refrain from compromising situations: We do not accept gifts or entertainment that violate applicable laws, and do not knowingly breach internal policies governing the giving or receiving of such gifts or entertainment.
Respect employment rights: We honor all relevant employment rights and protections, including measures against modern slavery and human trafficking.
Report concerns: We adhere to the firm’s internal policies for reporting concerns regarding illegal or improper conduct, including procedures for whistleblowing and reporting suspicious activities.
Act responsibly: We conduct oneself in a manner that positively impacts wider communities, demonstrating social responsibility.
We expect our key suppliers to adhere to similar standards. All our people have access to this Code through our website. The principles within it will be reinforced through periodic training and the induction of new joiners. The operation of the Code and the related policies and procedures will be monitored and reviewed on an annual basis by our Management Committee.
